For the 180 day you will need to file:
- The petition for 180 days,
- Notice and order for hearing.
- Once filed the client is to be served within 48 hours as well as counsel for APS and client. Others are served the notice and order setting hearing.
- Provide the Physical, Mental, Social Evaluation (PMSE) to the facility for Physician completion after your Order setting hearing is approved by the court. This should be filed with the court order at the scheduled hearing.
- Your 180-day order should also be prepared prior to the scheduled hearing.
- Once the order is obtained all parties are provided a copy of the 180-day order.
- Your client must be seen within two weeks prior to any scheduled hearing.
In some counties your ADA or OKDHS legal will prepare and file the pleadings.
