Definition of Sexual Exploitation: means and includes, but is not limited to, a caretaker causing, allowing, permitting, or encouraging a vulnerable adult to engage in prostitution or in lewd, obscene, or pornographic photographing, filming, or depiction of the vulnerable adult as those acts are defined by Oklahoma law.

Example of Appropriate Findings Narrative
Example of Substantiated Allegation:
The allegation of caretaker sexual exploitation against the alleged perpetrator Elmer Fudd has been substantiated based on the evidence obtained by collateral interviews and supporting documents.
The client is an 82-year-old woman with a diagnosis of dementia, COPD, chronic heart disease and total care. The client does not have capacity and is non-verbal. Mr. Fudd is a live-in friend who provided 24-hour care to the client. According to medical records the client had frequent urinary tract infections and bruising on her upper thigh area.
A welfare check was requested by a neighbor who noticed frequent visitors to the home at all hours of the night. Law enforcement officers arrived at the home where they found Mr. Fudd selling illegal drugs from the home and charging his customers for taking photos of the client nude while they were having sex with her. The client was transported to the hospital where she received medical treatment.
The client has been placed in a nursing home by family.

The allegation of caretaker sexual exploitation against the alleged perpetrator Daffy Duck has been unsubstantiated based on the evidence obtained by collateral interviews and supporting documents.
The client is a 21-year-old woman with an intellectual disability who resides with her mother and stepfather.
Photographs of the client nude were found on the client’s phone after she reported that her stepfather took the photos. After further investigation, it was found that the client and her best friend from church took nude photos of each other and were sending them to boys at the workshop.
The mother who is the legal guardian of the clients now monitors the phone more closely.
